Subject: Rubbing up Front IP: Logged
Message: I sold my 99 Dak and purchased a 04 4x4 4.7 a few months back. I've started to notice when I back up theres a grinding/rubbing in the front end. Have not had much time to get under and check it out but would like some input on possible causes. It seems to do it more when I'm making a turn while backing up real slow. CV's, Bearings? any info would be great. thanks in advance.

Message: I would suspect the brakes and/or wheel hub based on what you told me. The CV joints normally pop when they go bad. Grinding is normally brakes, but it could be the wheel hub or bearing.
