Subject: no heater or fans working IP: Logged
Message: My '98 Dodge Dakota heater and fans stopped working..What could this be ? And how do I fix it? Checked fuses. They're fine.

Message: Resistor block is most likely especially if you still have high speed only. If nothing at all more than likely the blower motor itself. and least likely is the switch. If you have a test light and can get to the connector under the dash on the RH side check for power and ground at the connector, if u got both can try giving the motor iitself a lil persuasive smack..if it starts up then u need a new blower cause the brushes are shot in the old one.

Message: fwiw my 03 fan completely stopped working thought for sure it was motor(tested and wacked) but resistor fixed it.
