 Subject: TB Question

I went to my local motor shop this week and asked about getting my tb proted...they said probally about an hours labour...But he said I would have to find the butterfly's....So does anyone know which ones are used? Where you could get them? Or anything else that will help me out here..

Thats a good deal on a whole TB, but If you can get new butterfly's it would be cheaper thats why i was wondering....

I machined my TB last week and just took the narrow part of the venturie out. At first I thought I was going to have to make new butterflies, so I did. Turned out I didn't need them. So if you just open it up without getting to far from the original dia. of the air doors it should be OK.
