Message: Might depend on where you are and what kind of emmisions inspection you need to pass. If you need the mil light to function correctly, it would be easier to swap in the 4.7 v8. Either way you need that '00 PCM. If you are determined to go with the 5.2, you might get it to work with the '00 5.9 PCM, which was still available in some models that year.
