I have a 2000 4.7L V8 Dakota that is getting an output speed sensor malfunction code. I was told by aamco that the output speed sensor and pigtail would need to be replaced. I replaced those parts on the truck, which was not done through aamco, and it is still having the same exact problem and is still giving the same code. I talked to aamco again and they said that it could have been installed wrong, which i don't see how that could be the case, or it could be a bad sensor. At this point im not sure what to do. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on with a brand new speed sensor?

It was stupid to accept work that did not fix your problem.
