 Subject: rough idle after hard acceleration

After a hard acceleration (0ver 4000 rpm thru 1st and second gears)while passing on the freeway my truck began to idle rough when I came to a stop sign. Idled rough 40% of the time for a while the cleared up after a month and started to run fine again. It has happened again after 6 months and is idling rough again. Cleaned, checked and replaced everything the first time which did not help at all. Any suggestions or cures? Has any one had this problem?

You need to hammer on it more, it's feeling the rush and can't controll it's self! It needs to go hard and fast!
Flash the PCM and see if it goes away.
