Message: I will just say that there is no 2wd chevy 5.7 or bigger motor (not dually) that is going to pull my dakota 4.7 4x4 backwards. Anybody who wants to test that come on over...bring the little 4.3 over, I would be glad to break your rear axle for you.
FYI the 4.3 is a glorified v-6, not special, gets crap mileage with the rest of the outdated v6's. I have been around enough of them. besides I can get 4 wheels of traction while he is doing his one wheel peel. I bet you took the short bus to school didn't you Johnny? Or maybe mommy touched you in the wrong places, either way, you are full of it and in the wrong alley little boy.

Message: hooking up trucks is in no way shape or form an indication of the trucks power or "awesomeness"
for example
my little brother 1500 vs a 97 powerstroke f-250
the f-250 got yanked backwards with 2 tires smokin
what does that prove?
My little brother had more traction with a rear locker, 4.56 gears, and 35" tires

Message: Sounds like there was more of a traction issue than a power issue here. Regardless... I recently traded my DAK for an 09 Tundra 5.7. 381 hp, 401 pounds of torque. If you like picking fights with V8s we can hook up bumpers or line up anytime, anywhere.

Message: All Dodge should do is replace the smaller Hemi with the larger 6.1L V8 which should put out more tourqe.
BTW: GM offers so many engine options it's confusing. So they should replaceing there 5.3 and 6.0. and just have 3 including the V6.
