I own a 1992 dakota 4x4 (5 speed) with a V6.
I recently purchased a wrecked 96 (auto) with a 318, so the plan is
to swap engines.
That manifold has been sitting in my garage doing nothing, so I
was wondering if I could use it on the 96 318??
I,ve goggled the mainfold....got ropermotor also and spent a few
hours going thru previous pages, found nothing??????

I also began searching for wiring harness 92-95 V8 with a new
ECM(OBD1)
Found ECM on ebay from 94-95 Ram 1500 MT, ECM should work??

Since the install is in an OBDI vehicle, and you're using an OBDI PCM, you'll need an intake manifold w/ previsions for an EGR. If the poster going by here is correct, that manifold does not have the EGR ports.
As far as a wiring harness, all you need to do is add the wires for the 2 extra injectors. Everything else should be there. At least that's what i've seen posted around here.

as noted, you have a vehicle where smog ruels (1) apply. And you want to swap in a lump where sm0g rules (2) apply.
It is probably easier to go buy a 2 oz hammer and a 32 oz hammer. bang your head with the 2 oz. then ask if you want to upgrade, then switch to the 32 oz.
in a few minutes you will begin to understand some thing you didn't before.

Is it then possible to use the OBD2 ECM and all the clunk wiring
from the wrecked 96 into my 92?
Or will that be an electrical nitemare??
I really dont want to hunt around for a egr equipped intake and
exhaust manifold.
What other options do I have?
M1 and carb the engine?
The scare on my head is from a 5 lbs hammer!!
