Message: Replaced the engine on a 99 Dodge Dakota V8. We had a few different people helping out and now that its back in we have one extra female white pig left over sitting under the EVAP. It looks like its facing the distributor but cant seem to find anything to plug it into. It looks just like the one that goes into the Throttle Body. Could someone please let us know where we wired it wrong. We are using a general purpose dodge manual and I cant find a schematic to fit this truck.
Message: Have you tried to start it yet? If so, does it run. If you start it or try to, you can retrieve the computer codes which might help. otherwise, check evap solenoid, egr valve, distributer (3 pins), cps (3 pins), oil pressure sensor (2 pins). Up around the throttle body, you got the map sensor (3 pins), throttle position and idle control motor(4 pin). If all these things are connected, try to start it and see what happens.
