Subject: Power loss @ 4700 RPM+ IP: Logged
Message: Alright I had my timing chains and tensioners replaced along with water pump. The guy said when he put it back together it would not start. He pulled the whole front a part again and said the timing gear/s were one tooth off. So he drove it and said it was fine. Well I get in it and floor it and it flattens out about 4700 plus rpms and in second it will not shift to drive until you let off gas. He said I have a compuer problem. It was fine before I took it to him. Just had front main leaking oil so thought I would do the other work while in there. Thanks for your help.

So did he take the chain back off and get it aligned properly?
If not you seriously need a new mechanic!

Message: Yeah Yeah. I am not an idiot. Just didnt have the money to take to Dodge. Look he said he did it. What I want to know is if he did not get it properly alligned can it cause the power curve to flatten out.
