Subject: Fuel Delivery Problem IP: Logged
Message: I am unsure if there is a message that has covered this, if so,
point me in the right direction. Onto the issue:
My truck:
1994 Dodge Dakota SLT w/ 5.2L V8 (318) Club Cab 4x4
The Problem:
When I get below about a 1/2 tank of gas, (typically more like
3/8's of a tank remaining) the engine begins to bog down
heavily. (I believe it is a cylinder misfiring)
I figure it is due to gas not being sufficiently delivered to the
engine, which I can only assume is because the 'fuel module' is
malfunctioning. I'm wondering if the easiest thing to do is to
replace the module, or if there are any other possibilities of why
this problem occurs.
Thank you,
