Message: 3.21 will not necessarily give you better mileage.
Depends on tire size and transmission gear ratios.
If you have 3.5 rear, change to 3.9 (or even 4.1, depending on your driving requirements) might be a better choice.
Again, much depends on tire size. I have 3.5 rear and changed tire diameter from 31 inches to 32 inches, which is same as using 3.4 rear gears. Lost 4 MPG highway, based on fuel used/miles travelled computations.

Message: Hi JasonB I am running 235/75/15, stock size are
215/75/15. I do not drive hard use as a second car, but I do work on a farm & carry a couple of tool box's. I have a 3.55 rear. I only get 12.5 to 14.5mpg I usually drive 45 to 50 the 13 miles to work. Have talked to others & my uncle has a 94 reg. cab he gets around 17 to 19 with his & i know he drives harder than i do.
