Message: No.
You'll need the Design-III injectors...and the 24# size. 24# injectors are not required unless you've seriously modified the engine/cam/heads or super/turbocharger.

Message: I have the 24# and a supercharger, headers, 52mmTB
and I get a MIL light. I'm thinking that you will need to have the head work and/or cam to require 24#ers

Message: I'll let you know tonight... I'm at work right now. I think its P0172 or P0351 anyways the service manual says it's having to make too much of a correction to lean it.

Message: OK it's the P0172 1/1 Fuel System Rich (abnormally lean correction factor)
That code showed it's ugly head the day I installed the 24#ers. about 2 weeks later I got the P0351 it's a coil problem. I don't think they are related but I am replacing the coil anyways.

Message: EyeTrip: Is you're FMU leaking? We've got several supercharged V6 and V8's running superchargers and 24# injectors...and none are getting the P0172 code.

Message: Actually I've been watching the fuel pressure and it's rock steady at 50psi all the time ... my FMU hasn't worked from the day I bought this project. I took the vacuum port out and pressed down on the diaphram while watching the pressure and it has no reaction. I think it's dead. but the aux fuel pump still works.
Thats with key on. And fuel transmitter is on the fuel rails.
I'll pull the fuse out of the aux pump and reset the PCM just to verify.

Message: Ok bernd, I removed the fuse and it droped my fuel pressure to 49PSI it was 50 to 51. I reset the PCM and the MIL light hasn't returned. I am very suprised that 2-3PSI made the difference. I haven't verified if the stinkin press transmitter is valid
I'm not worthy!
Thanks bernd

Message: So the #19 Design III injectors are not necessary for the 4.7L if you plan on just bolt ons? I am doing cams and external bolt ons. Please let me know if the injectors would help me. Also does the multi-hole design reduce gas mileage or just provide a more widespread spray using the same amount of fuel as the single hole?
Thanks Bernd
