Message: I have a '95 5.2 5 speed and 3.92 gears that i've raced just a few times, my question is should i be leaving the line in first gear or in second? 1st gear in this truck seems almost useless unless i'm leaving a stop sign going uphill. It doesn't have much traction what gear i use so i'll have to fix that, the truck has msd ighition, headers,3 inch exhaust, flowmasters, k&n filter, i'm having the intake and throttle body ported

Message: Are you talking about racing in the 1/4? Then use your 60ft times and try it both ways.
