Message: Hi:
I have a 2002 DQC, 5.9l, 4wd, with superchip programming set at 87 octane (minimum performance setting).
I have been getting the 0201 thru 0208 DTC's for quite a while (2-3 years). Until recently I hadn't noticed any effect on performance so I have just been clearing them when they show up.
They do not show up all the time. Sometimes months go by. When they do show up, they usually show up individually, but no one code seems to show up more than any other. I get codes for all eight injectors at different times and never all at once.
I use the truck for off/road and towing. On my last trip I noticed that after the DTC showed up, I could feel some performance decline and some slight missing at high power settings (e.g. freeway hills). This was the first time I noticed any performance issues. On that trip I also had some hard starting issues without any codes showing.
I have the Dodge Powertrain Diagnostic Manual and the Service Manual and have done what I could following the manuals. The Diagnostic manual requires a DRBIII to perform the tests
which I don't have access to. I checked the connections and integrity of the injector harness. All looks ok.
Has anyone had these codes before? Any thoughts on the cause and fix? Any ideas on how to trace the problem without the DRBIII?
Thanks

I've had this problem for about almost four years.
Hope you don't have to wait that long to figure yours out.
