When I set the heater to blow on my feet, I get only a weak flow on the drivers side, but a good flow on the passengers side. is there a door motor to check? If it works on one side but not the other-must be a door not opening. Ever see this before? (01 dak).

Not seen that issue on my '99 but the doors are vaccum operated I believe.
I know it is simple but have you checked the carpet and/or floormats? My '99 had a poor fit on the carpet where it tucks up under the dashboard forward of the transfer case shifter - that might interfere with flow.
Any recent maintenance or other changes?
