mine will idle but not hardly go under any load
the in tank replacements i've seen are $150-170 because they include the pump but i don't need the freaking pump.is it anyway to just replace that filter?

Message: the filter is part of the pump assembly and not replacable by itself.
there are 2 types of pump for 95, one with filter and one with pickup screen.

Message: My 94 Dak had a perforated filter at the bottom of the pump ass. and my 97 Ram had a sock. Both had a strainer/regulator on top of the ass.
