Subject: smoke from AC vents

Message:
I have smoke coming from my AC vents when I turn on the AC. It smells like a mixture of coolant and electrical burning. Reading the post on the fan resister block, I think that may be the problem. Anybody else have a similar situation?

Condensation/fog from the AC vents usually means the heater core is leaking. That's why it smells like coolant. The blower resistor problem is what causes the fan to not run on all speed setting, or not at all.
