 Subject: Coolant Leak

I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota with a 318 automatic. It has started from time to time blowing most of the coolant out of the engine after being parked after normal daily driving. It appears to be coming from around a freeze plug in the engine. From what I can see there is no crack in the block no where. Has anyone seen, heard or experienced leaking from or around freeze plugs in these trucks? If not, does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this problem? Thanks.
