I've heard a rumor that all 99-01 360's (5.9) engines have frost plugs that tend to rot out and leak?? Anybody else haerd of this problem.

haven't heard it on here but, if the cooling system isn't maintained properly, any vehicle will have rotten freeze plugs.

Havn't heard that. And at 103K miles, havn't seen it, either.

I take great care. Hit 120,000 and out comes the water from one of the frost plugs. 3,000 miles later, another. While working on my steering awhile back, I noticed a drip from another. They ARE notorious for that. The thing is, the part is like give-away (price wise). It's putting them in that sucks. Good luck! MC
