Message: yesterday when i was driving through town someone pulled out right in front of me. when i hit the brakes the front tires locked up and the right seemed to lock harder than the left..i guess the caliper was sticking or something, but the real question i have is i was wondering if there is any way to put abs on the front? because in rain the front tires locking up can cause quite a bit of trouble..

Message: One caliper could be applying the more pressure than the other side. You can buy a pressure gauge to mount on the end of the brake line and test that theory.
Or, it could just be that one tire had more traction than the other.
Yes, you can add 4 wheel ABS. It was a factory option. So just go to the junk yard and find a truck with all the right parts, and swap them over.
It's a big job, and not one to be taken lightly. Buy a factory service manual, and study it carefully. Make sure you know what parts are common, and what are not.
Probably wouldn't be cheap, either.

Message: caliper, yes
theres so many other things
worn/swollen caliper hose
sticking sliders/pins
residue build up
water,grease or oil on caliper
also, moisture in the fluid
pull the wheel off and take a look
then check the fluid see how it looks
