 Subject: fuel pump issues

Im having extreme difficulty trying to reattach the hose with the
small white clip to a the new fuel pump I just put it, is there a trick
or something

Assembly is the reverse of disassembly. If the small white clip is a hose clamp, back it away from the end of the hose until the hose is connected. Then, using the proper tool, slide it into position.
