I own a '95 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9L V6 magnum and my catalytic converter has been making this awful noise and I am about to change it out. I have the necessary cutting/welding equipment, but I am fairly new to purchasing cat converters. What brand/type would you guys recommend that I buy so that I can have: 1. best possible fuel economy and torque (legally) 2. best possible price 3. and of course, best possible reliability

I guess I just don't completely understand my options when it comes to catalytic converters...

thank you very much for reading my question and I am glad to have found these great forums!

To completely understand your options when it comes to catalytic converters, talk to your local muffler shop. They have to know those things.

I have a 3" Maganaflow high flow cat on my 2000 R/T. Along with a host of other mods, my truck easily passed Ontario Emissions.
