Message:
I have a question. i used to have a larger TB and put the OEM one back on because of gas prices. once i put the OEM back on after 70miles the check engin light came on with the code. i re-set the PCM hoping that would clear it out, but the error code came back.
I did change out the 2nd O2 sensor passanger side about three months ago.
Any help would be greatful, i am driving cross country next week.
Thanks in advance
Garrett

P1195 = 1/1 O2 Sensor Slow During Catalyst Monitor

Sorry. I was looking at the wrong list.

O2 sensor 1/1 is driver's side upstream (before the catalytic converter).

Garrett, also take a look at your hi pressure power steering hose. there is a pressure switch in this hose that is known to leak fluid into the wiring harness and that fluid eventually finds its way to the 1/1 O2 connector and can cause the MIL for a bad O2 to trip.

without actually hearing it, it will be impossible to diagnose. but, it could be the power steering pump or maybe a wheel bearing. does it do it in a turn in either direction? or just one direction?

check the power steering fluid level. Could be something that simple.
