Yup - it would help to know which drive train you are asking about.

What is in the VIN's 8th position?

N = 4.7L (w/45RFE)
X = 3.9L (w/42RE)
Y = 5.2L (w/44RE)
Z = 5.9L (w/46RE)

What's your left foot doing?

4.7 replaced the 5.2 in '00, so it's very unlikely to be a 5.2. Modain's suggestion is best way to determine what you have. Have you tried pulling codes ?

P0432 is a (right side) catalytic converter inefficiency condition. This shouldn't be causing the driveability issue unless the cat is plugged. This would not allow sufficient exhaust gas flow out of the right cylinder bank.

Have you (or the previous owner) changed O2 sensors recently? If the post-cat sensor was changed, but the pre-cat sensor is old this code can pop up. If both sensors are new then it could indicate the cat is going bad.
