I have a 2000 QC 4X4 4.7 with about 80K miles on it. When i go to start the truck it is extremely slow to start. Is there anyone else with this problem? What can i do to fix it?

By slow to start, do you mean it turns over slow or turns fine but for a long time before it starts?

How old are your plugs ?
Once it starts, if you turn it off and then try to restart right away - is it still slow to start ?

It turns over normally, but it just takes a while for the engine to fire up. The plugs are the original. Normally it will start up quicker when i try to restart it, but it is still fairly slow to start.

Those plugs are 8 years and 80k miles old. Long past due for a new set.
