I am looking at purchasing a 2002 Dak QC 4x4 w/ the 4.7. I was wondering what everyone averages for fuel economy city and highway? I drive with a pretty light foot, so any numbers would be helpful.

13.5 mpg around town
20.5 on the interstate

stock I was getting up to 16.5 (rarely), sometimes as low as 14. this is all combined.
I made some modifications and now my last fill up was 17 combined.
current set up
halo plugs
new map and iac
superchips tuned to performance with premium gas
around 5500 with me in it
265/75/16 tires
3.55 lsd
flowmaster 50 SUV single in , dual out
02 qc 4x4 auto
one thing i noticed, my scanner shows me running +12 deg

2000 4.7 liter 4x4, ext cab.....13-14 around town, 15-16 mpg highway

2000 qc 4x4 4.7 i get 13 city 15 highway
i swaped to HO cams and 70mm tb and guted the
rear cat and now get 15 city and 18 highway

2000 quad-cab 2wd 4.7 5 speed manual 30x9.50-15 a/t no a/c and 3:55 rear end gears and single in dual out flowmaster I live in south texas so terrain is pretty flat. I get 10.7? city and 17+/- hwy
