 Subject: Code P 0463

I got this code yesterday while driving. Fuel Gauge went to E (when the tank was half full) and the check engine light as well as low fuel light came on. After I stopped and restarted the engine the fuel gauge worked fine for 5 minutes then went back to E. How can I fix this?

P0463-FUEL LEVEL SENSOR NO.1 HIGH
When Monitored: Ignition on and battery voltage above 10.4 volts.
Set Condition: The fuel level sensor signal voltage at the PCM goes above 4.9 volts for more than 90 seconds.

anyone have any experience with this code? I disconnected the battery for an hour or so this weekend, filled up the gas tank and the check engine light went off. I'm not sure why I got the code in the first place.

Can anyone help me with this issue? After a week hiatus with no problems my check engine light came back on yesterday with the same code.
