Message:
i have a 2000 dakota 3.9l 5 speed. and want to know if my idea will work or cause any problems down the road or nething. i want to get the perf acc 3" body lift and hurst short throw shifter to fix the throw and forged torsion keys that lift 1-3" depending on torsion crank. and 2" blocks in rear to level it out. qith torsion keys i would only go up 2" so that my ride doesnt suffer and so the blocks match and is level. will any of this wreck nething? i was thinkning i should allso get diferent shocks at the same time. and with all this i should clear 33" easy right? also i would get gap guards to try and hide the gaps. thank you for any help or information.

Why torsion keys ? Most of our 4x4s with torsion suspension can be raised close to 2" without changing keys. Expect the ride to be a bit stiffer though.

because i thought with the new keys you wouldnt have to crank up the bars as much that they would just reposition and the ride wouldnt suffer as bad as just cranking them all the way up. idk thought just my thought

You're not the first to be confused about that. But the extra height comes from the extra load on the bar - not the keys themselves. It's just a different, more expensive way of doing the same thing.
