Does anyone on here have a Dakota R/T with Nitrous? I was wondering if a 75 shot would be semi safe, I have a wet system to spray in the air intake. I have been told if i run cooler plugs,93 octane, and dont juice it til 3,000 RPM's I should be fine. Just looking for some insight from someone with real hands on experience.

Years ago my friend used to shoot 150 shots on his R/T and he never had a problem. 75 shot on a 5.9 is pretty safe any more though and you will have to retard the timing.
When tuning a new system I always start off with a 50 and move up just to make sure everything is operating correctly. Test it first without opening your bottle to make sure fuel is flowing. It should bog down when you hit wide open throttle. If it ever pings or stumbles when you have the bottle on then abort the run because something is wrong.
