Subject: Dakota/Ram Headers IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone manufacture a set of shorty headers for the old Pre-Magnum LA series 318 and 360? I know a lot of companies make long tube headers for those engines, but I really want to get a set of shorty's. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Dan

Message: Not sure if these headers were the ones you were looking for but check out www.hedman.com then pick your vehicle. I have a set of shorty's for my '92 Ranger 4.0L V6.

Message: those do look sweet, but 600 bucks for a pair is a lot of money! I can get Hooker long tubes for my truck for 180 bucks with free shipping! (although I really do want short tube headers...

Message: Why do you want shorty headers? The longer the primary runner, typically the better preservation or increase of low-end torque. Shorty headers offer little or no exhaust pulse scavenging. Or are you building a forced induction strip monster?
Either way, headers are awesome and I'm jealous. Good luck!

Message: The exhaust ports are the same on the magnum and old LA engines - just need a set that will fit your body.
