Well, Do you have any other suggestions to make my 5.9 run the way it should. Seeing as knowone offers a 5.9 performance PCM for a 1993 dakota or ram. By the way, it is not about being stupid it is about making it right or at least trying to.Believe me if I thought that there was another way. I would look at it. So tell me what you would do. Thanks for your input.

Woodrow. Todd is the local troll, and usually posts nonsense, or on a good day, maybe an insult or two. Ignore him.

What do you mean by "run the way it should"?
How does it run now that is so wrong?
Are you aware that OBDII is only about emissions monitoring?

pull a pcm and wiring harness off a 93 ram with the 360. make your life easy!

going obd2 wont help anything but emissions.
If your rig is automatic, make sure its a pcm and harness off a ram with an auto.

Gregg, there is someone here that is deliberately trying to discredit Texas Todd. When they post crap like that you can be assured that it is not Texas Todd. I'm also frequently imitated.

More to the topic, the only reason I can think of switching is that the obd2 computer can be reprogrammed and the obd1 can not. At least that is my understanding. check it out for yourself.

Pretty neat trick, connecting my handle with Todd's email address, but a very old one.
