So, I've ordered a PST poly bushing front end kit. They call me and ask which sway bar diameter I have, 28mm or 30mm. I tell them probably 30, but I'll call them back.

So, I crawl under there, measure it, and find that mine is 33mm. I call them back, and they say that no 99 Dakota came with 33mm front sway bar.

So, I hit up google. An hour later, I can't find anything on front sway bar diameter for my truck. I know what is actually in there, but the Performance Suspension Technologies is telling me that I don't, and to pick 28 or 30.

So, I start checking out others, like Energy. Either I'm stupider than I think, or nobody sells a 33mm front sway bar bushing for the 99 Dakota R/T.

So, my question is: Does anyone else have a 33mm front sway bar in their R/T? Is it just mine? Did they change them around 99, and I have a different one? Is mine possibly aftermarket?

...so many questions...

I have a 2002 RC 4.7L Dak and I have the 33mm as well. I went to Autozone and found the Energy Suspension one right in the store. Go down there and check it out. You might find the right one you need there, or they can order it for you. If they only have a 31mm or something, that will work too.

The new bushings are much better than the old too.

Excellent! Thanks. I've been doing all my looking around online. The Energy site only shows the 28 and 30 online.

I'll check out the local store. Didn't even think of that.
