Has anyone installed the lowering kit (i.e. springs, shocks , blocks) sold by Streetbeat for the R/T and how does it ride and handle. What rate are the springs and are they progressive? Are the shocks nitrogen progressive or is this stuff just your basic ride and handle like crap lowered truck stuff?

I checked out the kits they sell at StreetBeatCustoms, and see all the kits except the good one. They sell the DJM, BellTech, GroundForce, etc...

Everything except the Hotchkis. Go with the Hotchkis system. It'll run you $1k, but you will be forever happy with it. It is the only kit that will improve your handling.

Spend the money and do it right. My opinion... :)

Thanks for the advise. It sticks good now, but I want it to stick better for those late night road races. Get the weight right and the center of gravity just right it will be even better. Comes in handy to be able to hang it out a little. Have a Vortec with an intercooler to add to it. Someone said with a stock motor and some basic mods and MSD with boost retard and some computer tweaking lager injectors etc.. it will definetly hammer down then. I am planning on bringing the upper Rpm in later with a single plane, headers
F&B billet throttle maybe a set of 1.7 roller rockers. These engines are easily opened up and tweaked with little work and little money. Mustwhaaaang, C*ntmareo beaters. Mopar or no Car(or truck).

TexasTodd,
Why don't you just keep your 2 cents to your self. You have your own problems to deal with. Working three jobs and a retarded son and all.
