i went to both junkyards in my town and neither of them have a throttle cable, nor have they ever kept them, so im out of luck there
i need a v8 throttle cable to do the v8 tb swap, i have the tb, all i need now is the cable, if any1 has 1 they can sell me, let me know, i need it for the 5.2/5.9, i have a 3.9l dakota 2001

dude, go to www.dodgeparts.com
the throttle cable you need is listed under 98-03 v8 throttle cable, the site is kind of confusing, you have to go into the OEM parts. it costs like 28$ or something. thats where I got mine.

i know where to get them new, im looking for a used cheaper one since im broke, i can go to the dealer and get it for that price, and not have to pay shipping

good luck finding a used one, most people just have used v6 ones from doing the swap, best bet is a junkyard. the dealers jack up the price. when i called the dealer about a throttle cable the idiot at the parts counter argued with me. He told me dakotas never even came with a 5.9 so of course I had to explain to him that between 98-03 dakota rt's came with a 5.9 and between 97-99 daks came with the 5.2 and either one would work. the guy was a complete moron. eventually i found out the part number and called him back and the price was like 40$ so i was like screw you guys and i ordered from dodgeparts.com they only charge like 5$ shipping and i think its a flat rate.

ya, i found 1 for 23bucks, 8bucks shipping, seems the cheapest i can find
but ya, dealership is a last resort, i hate dealing with those guys
