Slow RPM drop while warming up, or sudden shut-off?

Message: Does it lose spark when it dies ? A coil with an open winding can separate when it warms up; causing the symptoms you describe.

Message: P1391 Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP
you're on the right track. you may want to check the wires to the CPS(crank position sensor) since you said it was parked for 3 months. is it possible some kind of critter had access to your wiring in your truck while it was parked?
