i was just wondering i have a flowmaster 40 muffler atm and wanted a louder sound to my 5.2 99 dakota. Would cherrybomb vortex or glasspack do the trick?

Anyway now that I answered the troll...
If you want NICE sound, go Flowmaster's al lthe way. You can get some that sound good, but are not really loud. I run 2 1/2" true duals with Flowmaster 40's and it's pretty loud.
I had glasspacks on it when I first went duals and it idled quieter but barked so loudly when into the throttle that it scared women and children 1/4 mile away!
If you want MEAN and LOUDEST go cheap cherry bomb glasspacks.

I agree with GraphiteDak if you want the best sounding truck you can get go with the Flowmaster, but if you want a louder truck that still sounds decent go with the Cherry Bomb Elite you mentioned. I put one on my 99 318 4x4, it has a very loud nasty growl to it just not as smooth as the Flowmaster I took off of it. The Cherry Bomb Elite has a cool old school mud truck sound to it which is exactly what I was looking for on this truck. On my 02 4.7 2wd I have a true dual setup with two Spin Tech mufflers and she just sounds amazing, I can't think of a better way to describe it. It's about as perfect as you can get, its VERY loud and also very smooth. A guy I worked with a while back got all pissed off when I put it on cause he liked the way it sounded better then his 69 Road Runner 440 6pk.

there rigtht about the cherry bomb it will be loud, if you want really loud, window breaking, cant hear yourself think kind of sound. Fill those glass packs with some used oil and hit the inside with a weed burner and burn all the glass out.
