Message: Me again
Saw a product called caltracs.
Looked like a traction hammer that stops against the rear leafs when the rear end starts to roll.
Any ideas on that one too.

Message: It's a traction bar. Eliminates spring wrap. It works.

Message: Yeah. I welded together a set for myself. Cheaper that way.

Message: Or.., Use a set of helper springs, like from JC Witney, Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.
Usally around 20-30$ for the pair.
But, mount them in front or the axle, not in the rear.
Stops Wheel hop, etc.
I use them on my Quad Cab 4.7, manual, LSD, ...
works great!

Message: Yep. Clamp-on helper springs are easy, cheap and they work great.
Do it just like TexasTodd says.
