Subject: pulsating wheel, sticking brake..... IP: Logged
Message: About three times now, I've noticed my brake sticking some, after being caught in traffic. As in it not rolling on a very slight incline like it usually does, or being stuck briefly when letting the clutch out.
2 days ago, it got real bad after being in traffic, the wheel was vibrating when getting back to speed. Usually after it cools off, it's fine again. This time, it was way worse than before.
The Right dics was warm, the left disc was very hot! Felt it thru the mag.
Took off the caliper bolts and they were completely dry. Put grease in the whole, greased the bolts, and reinstalled.
NOw good as new, still my 135,000+ miles on my original brakes, front and rear!

Message: My point in starting this thread, was to suggest a possible solution to a pulsating wheel and pulsing brakes-
By greasing the caliper bolts first.

Message: yeah usually when my brakes get stuck like that and they heat up i just pour a whole lot of ice cold water on them and they usually unstick. I think bottled water is the best because its clean and wal-mart sells a case for about $4. it works for me.

Message: With water I would be concerning about a big temp. change and warping something. If they are sticking, I would remove a repair/lube as stated before.
