Subject: Disc brake calipers IP: Logged
Message: I was going to change the front brake pads and rotors. The caliper mounting bolts have boots, so cannot see the bolt head, but it must be a socket head cap screw (allen head). The 1/4" is too small but 5/16" is to big. Went to metric, and 6 mm is too small and 8 mm is too big.
Can someone tell me the correct size ?
Thanks

Message: Yep. When 6 is too small, and 8 is too big, it's a big fat honkin' clue that 7 will be just right.
