Message: I have a 2002 Dakota 4.7 with 80,000miles. Driving around today, I started getting a surging or hesitation which I think is the transmission. Whenever I go from 2-3 (automatic) It happens then it evens out. What should I look at??ThanksBarry

Message: Even though we don't like to buy anything from the dealership, always use Mopar fluid and filter in a Mopar tranny. ATF 4+
I have learned a little from experience, so if you just got the tranny flushed and refilled, I hope it was Mopar. If you need to do it, then you know.....

Message: Barry - how did you make out ? This could also be a non transmission related isssue; such as a faulty TPS.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way
