What does your temp gauge read(if you have one).
If it says that you are running a proper temp(about 95-105 should be proper) then yah, I'd have to say that it could be the blend door not opening all the way.
I'm not getting any heat either, but the gauge isn't coming up all the way, so I probably have a bad circulation problem some where, cause I've tried about 5-6 thermostats, one coolant system flush and two back flushes on the heater core.
If I take my rpm's up to 2500 for 5-10 mins then I can see the temp comes up to 100 if I sit there and let it idle, but as soon as I drive around, it falls back down to about 80-85 or so(all temp readings for me are in celcius).
Let me know if you find out anything as I'm dying to know what is wrong with mine also.

Thanks and good luck!

have you guys actually checked to make sure your tstats are opening at the correct temp? try putting the tstat in a pot of water with a thermometer and crank up the heat to see what happens.

I would like to know the location of the water control valve for the heater. I have an ice cold 98 Dakota. And yes have done all the flushing it can take. Water line to heater core is hot. line from heater is cold. If the valve does not open, I can not flush it.
