Message: hey graphitedak, i'm aware of all of this, the by-pass idea was just somethin i thought my be possible to be able to get away with no cats and still put o2 in the exhaust to get past emissions test. This was an idea i got from ford because during the 70's fuel and emissions crisis they injected air into the exhaust ports to get past the tougher emissions test. but thanks for the input and the videos.

Message: got the turbo today, it aught to work pretty slick. its a TD05-16G with an A/R on the turbine of 0.70, someone did a piss poor job of welding a fitting on to the downpipe, i can fix that though when i get my pyrometer.

Message: Hey dude, I just ported my throttle body last weekend and picked up some major gains. Only reason I say this is because I have a 2005 TB sitting in my shed and I'm thinking about porting and polishing it and trying to sell it that way. Would you be interested?

Message: what would you want for it ported and polished, would you sell it without porting and polishing it, cuz i could do that, what kind of gains did you get, what cfm increase do you estimate that you got from it. Oh by the way i watched some of those videos of graphitedak at the drag strip. do you guys go to that strip often, if so let me know i would like to get some times of my truck before and after the turbo.

Message: Yeah dude, I'll sell it unported. I'm not sure what a good price would be but you just let me know and I'm sure we could work out a deal.
I have no idea of the CFM increase, but I defitely felt more power at the top end.
I haven't gone to Speedworld in a while cause I've been busy. But, I can't wait to go back. Let me know when your ready and I'll meet you there anytime you want. Check out their website and see when they have open drags. Usually Saturdays. I'm not sure of the last time Graph was there but it's probably been a while too. I really want to try out my new manifold and TB though.
Oh yeah, dude, go to dakotausa.com
That website kicks ass and you can post pictures and schnit. Easier to talk over there too.

Message: I wouldn't be too worried about detonation, but, if you want, go to the Autolite 3923 plugs. I use them and they work great. I believe the 3922's are one heat range colder than that if your really worried.
Dakota USA is totally free and there are a lot of good people on there to help you out. Check it out tonight. You just have to register with them before you post, but it's still free. You just have to give them your e-mail address, then they will send you a confirmation e-mail, when you get that, just open it and click the link to activate. They do that so there will be no spam and other tards to mess stuff up.
See you there dude!

Message: Hey sorry I've been away.
Glad you liked the videos.
Believe me we tried all sorts of sh*t on rammers truck, some good some bad!
The 318 had damage from when the oil pickup tube had once plugged and he lost oil pressure. AFter the temp fix it didn't last too long.
The 360 has stock pistons, stock compression ratio.
Funny thing is a lot of people we have talked to at the drag strip are saying not to bother dropping the compression ratio. Just get a good intercooler. At least when your just running 8 or so PSI of boost like he is.

Try Dakota-Durango.com. That site has even more info on it than Dakusa. I'm on there as well.
