 Subject: magnaflow sounds stock

i recently put a magnaflow muffler on my 97 318 dakota that has stock pipes.
i wasnt expecting it to be super loud, but it sounds stock, maybe even quieter than stock.
is there a reason for this, or is the magnaflow supposed to be this quiet?

I have a Magnaflow muffler on my wife's 4.7L Durango and it has a deep throatie sound (definitely not stock sound) and one on my R/T and it sounds awesome. Best muffles I purchased.
Which muffler did you purchase and are you sure its a Magnaflow?
