Subject: 35"s and my dak... IP: Logged
Message: I've got 5" of lift and they still rub alittle,
anybody know if 3.65" back space will help ?
I now have 15 x 8 with 4.5 back space. I hope that .75 less on each side will help.
They only rub in a tight turn on the frame in the front.
BUT....they look bad ass.

Message: 35"s on a Dakota, does that thing have brakes?
Do you off-road much or is this a pavement
only truck, that's a lot of stress on the axles!

Message: I appreciate your replys.
The truck is holding up well, I hope the axles stay strong for at least one year. I am looking for a 2500 to get parts from, as in straight axle and bigger rear end and so forth.
I ordered some rock crawlers with .75 less back spacing. I hope that will be enough. Tire guy said that it will help....we shall see.
The tires really only rub the fenders in big bumps. None in the back, little in the front. I will have to trim them or go to a off road fender.
I do take it off road, not with 35"s till I fix the rub. I took it off road with 33"s quite a bit
. I don't really feel any difference in the brakes yet.
I will post pic soon.
