Subject: Engine running rich??
IP: Logged

Message:
I own a 2001 Dakota R/T. Shortly after I bought it about 7 months ago I started noticing a problem. It would drive fine for about a week and then all of a sudden it would act like it was running very rich. I would pull over, turn the engine off, restart and everything would be fine again. Im getting 0132 and 0138 which is Upstream H02S shorted to voltage and Downstream H02S shorted to voltage. Im pretty sure I have a problem with the harness or with the o2 sensors. Is this the possible problem with the wierd engine problem?? If so should I buy new 02 sensors or is their a way I can test for a certin voltage on the 02sensor wiring harness. Any help is greatly appreciated as this problem is frustrating..
