 Subject: power steering

I have a 4.7 V8 2WD and when i make a slow turn in neutral or just turn with barely any gas it gives a moan that sounds disgusting and its a little embarrassing. has anyone else had this problem? and does this sound like a power steering problem?

Check fluid level and if contaminated by grit.
An easy way to keep up maintance is to drain/refill
with one of those 'turkey baster' suction tubes.
You can replace 1/2 quart of fluid,
without making a mess or taking off any hoses.
Changing 1/2 quart of power steering fluid/ATF+4
once a year is plenty to keep the PS in top shape.
