ok guys every ? ive asked on here has been answered great so much info have an issue with a 86 chrysler fifth ave 318 60,000 miles its got that wierd lean burn problem is no fuel in carb{6280 holley feed back carb)pressure to the carb is right on at 5 to 7 lbs cars runs with fuel dumped in carb but no fuel gettin through carb anyone have any clues? anything electric on this that could just shut down carb?thanks

Pretty common for people to replace the lean burn ECU with a regular one, especially performance aplications for that era - but I'm not sure your problem is related to that. Is there a filter on the carb that could be plugged ? If the pressure to the carb is okay, then I don't think anything is shutting down the fuel supply.

thx kowalski yea alot of people were takin them stupid things off they were junk from the factory but i got lucky changed carb today(junk yard 35 bucks) turns out theres a soleniod in the carb that goes bad and shuts off the fuel supply cant just change the soleniod its built in the carb itself runs great again but parts are get few and far between now so im lookin to do the convertion on it soon thanks for your help

Glad you found the problem. I think the orange mopar ECU is a direct replacement for your lean burn igniton; there's a chrome one too for performance motors pulling lots of revs. Might find the ECU in the junkyard too.
