Message: How would one go about talking dad into letting son get dual exhaust? Lol.. He said he doesnt want me to do anything to my truck, but we all know a 4.7 needs a dual. I'm gonna take a crack at it ina few days, but I thought maybe you guys could come up with a clever story:) If no story then wish me luck.

Message: When my truck belonged to my dad and I drove it all the tiem I used to complain about the mileage and tell him I knew exactly what part would help add a few MPG. If it added some more horses that was just a sacrafice I would have to make. Got K&N FIPK and MSD ignition this way. But now that it's mine and has been for several years I don't have to come up with stories of MPG gains.

Message: Same here Chris, I bought a flowmaster after my mom "agreed" to let me put on duals after i made my first 3 payments. Next thing I know, both of my parents are screaming at me telling me not to void my warrenty by doing "stupid" stuff to make it faster.
Pain in the arse i tell ya. But, I just graduated HS so i'm getting it put on no matter what!!!!

Message: I put Gibson shorty headers and a complete catback
exhaust on my 4.7L Dakota. Works great and sounds too good. There is no performance gains from duals. just sounds different. try a catalytic
sim chip and run a straight pipe through your
cat (looks legal enough) and watch out. dont forget the K & N this really helps the mpg's
and ther hp...aloha

Message: You do not void the warranty by adding go fast parts (in most instances). Check US Title 15 Chapter 50 for the appropriate information.

to a covered item it wont void warranty.
