Subject: overdrive? IP: Logged
Message: hope yall had a great weekend! trouble is:
since i can remember, my truck loves going from 2nd to overdrive. this poses a problem when i am going on the interstate from town as i have to mash the gas to get out of OD so i don't get run over. if i manually put on the OD it shifts normally....auto it goes to OD asap. any ideas? any and all input is greatly appreciated.

Message: It is one of your shift solenoids. 2-3, 3-4 or OD. It's pretty early for you to be having that type of problem. Are you doing any towing? If so, how often and for how long of distance and is your OD on or off?. Are you gunning it with your OD off? These are all some influences in burning out those solenoids, especially the 3-4.
